Poni

from a young age poni was busy creating images and lines -- he was always drawing and sketching. at the age of 14 he exchanged the pencil for ‘paint brush’, his first computer program. from that moment he became a designer. his first commissions were for his mother and friends, and later for different agencies specializing in computer graphics and pre press. eventually he became an independent graphic designer. poni also became interested in the internet field. being an enthusiastic autodidact he taught himself programming and coding. currently he is dividing his time between web design and graphic work.

in 2006 he had two major museum commissions (in collaboration with roel schneemann, interior designer): the renovation of the afrika museum in berg en dal, and the exhibition in the amsterdam historical museum, 'geef mij maar amsterdam.' he also designed sets for television programs, such as 'de leugen regeert'. poni has also rediscovered his childhood pencil, combined with his beloved machine he is currently making handmade computer drawings carrying his sensitive personal touch.
